Day zero of the Gotland trip. Waiting in line for the ferry I all ready felt the good island vibe settling in. We spent the entire crossing hanging out on the deck as I obviously didn’t buy seating in the zoo area of the boat. When we rolled of Erica swiftly navigated us to one of the better coffee places. The voice was excellent but in the background I noticed a sweet downwind gathering strength. Screw it... darling drop me of here and pick me up 15km further down. I promise... it will only take an hour. Little did I know but it turned out to be the ride of the year. Maybe best ever I had in Europe. All the stars aligned and I just couldn’t stop smiling the entire way. Towering white chalky cliffs on one side. The odd green white reef rocks and the endless swells begging me to push on a bit harder. 56minutes later my ski was strapped back on the buss. To buzzed to even feel tiredness we quickly headed for Fårö where we Will spend a few more days on the beach. Paradise around the corner.
