If you arrive outside our reception opening hours, we do the following:
Cabin & room guests: We hang out keys and barrier cards in a key cabinet on the reception wall. You will receive an SMS with a code on the same day as check-in, which is used to open the cabinet.
Booked camping guests: You will receive an SMS with a code that gives you access to the barriers, service buildings, showers etc. Check in at the reception the following day.
Drop-in camping guests: Call the on-call number (+46 70 522 91 36) and we will guide you to where you can find access cards etc. The on-call service is available 21:00–04:00 during high season (18/6–16/8).
We have WIFI zones at the resort that give our guests free internet. The zones are located around the reception by the cabin village, the pool, the playground, the adventure golf, the hotel, the hostel, and at the beach campsite.
The terrace & beach villas have their own WIFI.
To connect: Choose the network Sudersand_Guest and use the password sudersand2018.
Our guests bring their own firewood for the stove.
You can also buy firewood for SEK 50 per bag (Swish). You will find the firewood in our wood tent; follow this Google map to find it:

The option for late check-out (15:00) can be booked during low season.
As a cabin guest: Put the key in the box on the reception wall and please send an email informing us that you checked out early: info@sudersand.se (subject: Early check-out + your booking number).
As a camping guest: Log in to Mina sidor (My pages) and pay any remaining amount on your booking. Then simply check out and drive out through the barrier.

You can request a specific cabin or pitch at our resort and we will do what we can to give you the chosen spot. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that you will get that exact pitch or cabin.
All surfaces must be wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped, sinks, toilets and showers cleaned, mattresses vacuumed, and rubbish taken out.
Cabins/villas that have not been cleaned will be charged for final cleaning plus a 25% fee.
Mops, vacuum cleaners, dishcloths and basic cleaning equipment are available. Bring your own cleaning agents and dishwashing liquid/dishwasher tablets. Dishwasher tablets are available at the hostel.
Final cleaning means that you do not have to clean yourself. We take care of everything, except that you must take care of any dishes and take out the rubbish yourself.
Prices for final cleaning are listed on the unit pages and must be booked at least 40 days before arrival.
Invoice payment is possible and can be sent by email. 20% is paid within 10 days and the remaining amount no later than 40 days before arrival.
Payment can also be made by debit/credit card; in that case, the full amount is paid immediately and it is not possible to split the payment.
No, you may not park on the grass next to the cabin. There are marked parking spaces for our accommodation guests. One car per cabin is allowed; if you have more cars, they must be parked outside the area in marked parking spaces (a fee may apply at some car parks).
Yes, there are charging stations. You use the InCharge app or your own payment card.
Electric cars must not be charged from the cabin sockets, as our electrical system is not dimensioned for this. If you charge from the cabin or camping pitch sockets, a penalty fee of SEK 1,500 will be charged.
Yes, for overnight guests parking by the cabins and the reception is free. Other visitors are referred to paid parking.
Yes, barbecuing is allowed with your own grill or at the fixed barbecue areas. Please note that different rules may apply during periods of drought.
Guests in semi-detached houses, terrace villas and beach villas have their own grill. For other cabins there are shared grills to borrow at the recycling stations, but note that the number is limited.
Please return the grill after use so that more guests can use it during their stay.
Yes, all our guests pay to use the pool area. It is possible to buy weekly and season passes.
The pool is open 10:00–19:00 every day during high season.
Children under two years stay for free if the number of people exceeds the number of beds. Travel cots are available for rent.
A cabin or villa allows the number of people stated in the booking. In some units, an extra bed can be rented for SEK 195 per night, but please check with us if this is possible in your specific cabin.
If more people stay in the cabin than the booking allows, a fee of SEK 500 per person and night will be charged.
Duvets and pillows are provided in the cabins. However, bring your own sheets and towels or rent them from us. Please contact us in advance if you need to rent a linen set, so we can ensure availability.
A linen set includes pillowcase, duvet cover, sheet, and one large and one small towel.
Guests must be quiet by 22:00 on weekdays and 23:00 on weekends.
Please note that during high season, nearby restaurants may have music and entertainment in the evenings. They must, however, comply with the municipality’s laws and regulations regarding noise levels.
Yes, but only in certain units. This is specified in your booking; please contact us if you are unsure.
According to Gotland municipality, pets are not allowed in the most densely populated part of Sudersand beach, but they are allowed in the resort area as a whole and on the other three beaches on Fårö.
The nearest option for withdrawing cash is a limited amount when shopping at ICA Nyströms on Fårö, and there is an ATM at ICA Bungehallen in Fårösund.
Sudersand Resort is otherwise cash-free in kiosks and restaurants and no withdrawals can be made (we also do not accept cash for purchases).
Yes, we have a shop by Reception East that has most of what you need to prepare a meal. There are several restaurants in the Sudersand area.
ICA Nyströms is located about 2 km from Sudersand Resort.
Yes, there is a bus from Visby to Sudersand during the summer high season. The rest of the year, the bus only goes to Fårösund, where guests must arrange their own transport to Fårö.
Yes, there is a taxi service on Fårö.
