• The tenant can protect themselves against cancellation fees by adding a cancellation protection at the time of booking, for a fee of SEK 450 per unit.
• The cancellation protection applies upon presentation of a certificate in the specific circumstances described in more detail below.
• The protection entitles the guest to a refund in the event of cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival.
• However, the cancellation protection cannot be used less than 24 hours before arrival; at that point the booking is considered used and no refund will be issued.
• The cancellation protection applies to all named individuals in the booking.
• If the customer chooses to use the cancellation protection, all travelers in the booking will be cancelled. No partial refund can be made if the remaining travelers choose to go ahead with the trip.
• The cancellation protection is only valid when the fee and the 20% registration fee (as stated on the confirmation) have been paid. This must be paid no later than 10 days after the time of booking.

The cancellation protection applies in the following special circumstances:

• Death, serious accident or illness that directly prevents the guest from completing the trip, and which can be substantiated by a certificate, affecting you yourself, your spouse or cohabiting partner, your or their parents, children, siblings, or a fellow traveler who has been included in the booking since the time of reservation.
• Some other serious event occurs beyond your control, for example a major fire or flood in your home, which makes it unreasonable to expect you to uphold your booking. Such incidents must be documented with a certificate from an authority, insurance company, or doctor. We must receive the certificate no later than 7 days after the cancellation date – certificates received after this will not be considered.
• Call-up for military service or civil defense.

The cancellation protection does NOT apply under the following circumstances:

• Worry about future illness (e.g. Covid-19).
• If war were to break out.
• Illness, accident or injury that has been diagnosed at the time the cancellation protection is taken out.
• Chronic diseases/infectious conditions unless the person has been completely symptom-free/free of problems for six months prior to the time of booking.
• Complications resulting from elective procedures and/or treatments such as cosmetic surgery or other aesthetic procedures.
• Mental illness.
• Procedures or treatments that were already planned at the time the cancellation protection was taken out.
• Illnesses, accidents or injuries that have arisen due to the abuse of alcohol, medication, sleeping pills, intoxicants or narcotic drugs.
• Compensation that may be obtained from other parties, i.e. other cancellation protections or insurance policies.
• Uteblivet syfte av resan.

Läkarintyg:

Skall innehålla datum för undersökning/ första behandling, datum för diagnos samt diagnos (för utredning om hastigt uppkommen sjukdom). Läkarintyget skall vara stämplat och signerat av tjänstgörande läkare samt att tjänsteställe skall vara inskrivet. Vi accepterar endast läkarintyg från tjänstgörande läkare.

Observera att det kan vara andra villkor som gäller när du bokar ditt boende via en tredje part, som t.ex. Destination Gotland, Gotland Promotion eller Booking.com.

Force Majeure

För det fall resan inte kan genomföras på grund av ett hinder utanför arrangörens kontroll som arrangören inte skäligen kunde ha förväntats ha räknat med när avtalet ingicks, och vars följder denne inte heller skäligen kunde ha undvikit eller övervunnit så är arrangören fri från skadeståndsskyldighet eller andra påföljder. Detsamma gäller även om resans inställelse beror på någon som arrangören anlitat eller annan i tidigare led. Atomkärnreaktion, krig, krigsliknande händelser, inbördeskrig, revolution, uppror eller åtgärd av makthavare som obehörigen tagit makten eller förstörelse genom myndighetsingripande, strejk, lockout, blockad samt naturkatastrofer är exempel på hinder utanför arrangörens kontroll.
